March 24 was the last day to register to vote in Pennsylvania's upcoming presidential primary on April 22.
Some volunteers set up tables in the cafeteria and the main lobby while others walked around campus encouraging people not registered to fill out a form.
Liberty High School senior Meghan Fluck helped run the table in the cafeteria. Fluck said she's participated in several drives this election season already.
"I've [personally] registered 150 people," she said. Fluck said it's important for people to register now because the presidential primary is the most important election so far this year.
"You should register to vote to change things," she said.
Fluck was joined by Dan Marden, a volunteer from Colby College in New Hampshire.
Marden is part of a student group for Obama at Colby College and he volunteered to come to Pennsylvania on his spring break to help the campaign.
Both Fluck and Marden said the important part of the drive is to encourage people to be responsible citizens.
NCC Radio/TV student Craig Kapilow agrees.
"This is a civic responsibility," Kapilow said as he started filming the process for a TV production Wednesday afternoon. "There's big decisions to make."
Kapilow is an Obama supporter and said his goal is slightly different - he wants to spread the message of change Obama represents. "We have Bush now, before that Clinton and before that Bush; can't this country be lead by anybody else?"
Other Obama representatives promoting the Senator's campaign were stationed near the registration table. Volunteers there had signs and stickers supporting Obama.
On the opposite side of the registration table in the cafeteria there was a Republican table.
Representatives from Congressman Ron Paul's campaign set up a campaign sign and handed out fliers with Congressman Paul's record and positions on election topics.
Jamiel Curto said he talked to four people in the first half hour he was there.
Curto emphasized Paul's platform of upholding the U.S. Constitution.
"He wants to bring this country back to it's foundation," he said.
The registration drive continued until 1 p.m. because the volunteers needed to drive the forms to Easton so the new voters will be able to participate in the primary.

Why are the Ron Paul "representatives" included in this article when they weren't in the cafeteria registering people to vote? They didn't register even one person! Also, the registration drive continued until 2PM. (Continued…)
