Thirty-eight years ago the first Earth Day celebration started showing environmentalism to the world.
The Environmental Task Force sponsored an exposition at the college.
Tables lined the quad with green fashion, eco-friendly soaps and detergents, solar panel rentals and a display of each presidential candidate's environmental positions.
Chef Char Hartley described the cafeteria's move to biodegradable cups.
Hartley said the move was an internal effort. Once the students and the ETF got behind the change the administration approved the new cups.
